About us

Middleton Pharmacy has been a cornerstone of local healthcare for over two decades. Established in 1995 under the name Carter/Allenby/Gregson Limited, the pharmacy underwent a name change to Middleton Pharmacy Limited in 2001 and later to Middleton Healthcare Limited in 2010.

For 22 years, it was operated by Middleton Healthcare Limited, a consortium of three local GPs, serving the community with a range of pharmaceutical services. In November 2024, the pharmacy was sold as part of the owners’ retirement plans. It was acquired by a pharmacist-led independent group with existing operations in Halifax and York.

The new owners, experienced pharmacist operators with a wealth of expertise in both NHS and private healthcare services, are committed to expanding and enhancing the offering at Middleton Pharmacy.
